Brad...sorry to offend. No hard feelings, honestly. It has just been that in my experience, most...not all (bad generalization, again, sorry) truck drivers think because they have a large vehicle that they own the road. The cut of faster traffic in the left lane, they often times don't stay in their own lane at all. And some are just bitter because they have to go 55 instead of 65-75 like the rest of us plebians, so they will block you in behind another slow car.

Yes...some are completely incompetent.
How often do you have to renew/retest for your CDL?
Just wondering...
cause maybe retesting more often can aquaint those who don't know what the heck they are doing with the rules of the road again.

Again...sorry. Truly didn't mean to apply the generalization, here.

Have a great weekend, all!
And Post...thats such BS! I am sorry that you got a raw deal there.

Thanks. I talked to my insurance company and they said I pretty much need the police report and the guy's/company's information to get my car fixed. Fortunately I only had minor dents and scratches.

Brad - You saw them inspecting it today? I'll see what the deal is on my way home (in 4 minutes).

I saw a crew inspecting the overpass. The Eastbound side was hit several months ago too, and that driver kept on trucking... until Smokey Bear pulled him over in around Morton. If you get on Pinecrest one lane is closed from the hit earlier in the year.

Jaded - Not all us truck drivers are boneheads, some of us are just incompetent. Thanks former Secretary of State George Ryan!

Glad you are safe and unhurt, though. But I agree with you, semi drivers ARE boneheads.
